Tammy Duckworth Just Can’t Not Talk About Her Military Service

Joe Walsh is very right. Tammy Duckworth, the democratic candidate for the 8th congressional district of Illinois held currently by Joe Walsh, spoke at the DNC tonight, again showing off AGAIN by talking about her military service. I won’t bore you with the harrowing details of her heroic actions that cost her two legs and an arm; you’ve probably heard it before anyway. Since as Joe Walsh so accurately pointed out, she seems to think that her military service and the sacrifices she has made for this country is somehow relevant to her bid for public service. And her seeking the limelight tonight just goes further to prove her point. And the Democratic Unfairness Machine enables her.

Meanwhile, Joe Walsh remains an unsung hero of the Right. He didn’t make a speech at the RNC. He may not have even attended the RNC since that most likely would have forced some of the light that was being shone on Mitt Romney’s opponent. Joe Walsh doesn’t want that. He doesn’t want people to talk about his record or his military service through his votes on military items. That’s the last thing Joe Walsh wants for himself. He merely wants to run a campaign, and would appreciate it if Tammy Duckworth could stop talking about character and maybe talk about what Joe Walsh thinks this election is about. And he doesn’t want it to be about Joe Walsh and he really doesn’t want it to be about Tammy Duckworth.

About Jeffrey Frey

Jeffrey Frey (pronounced Jeff FREE FREE) likes to say he was born twice as free. But unlike others who may take for granted that glorious birthright, he shares that freedom with you the reader, who most likely will again take his insights for granted. This doesn’t bother Jeff since freedom, unlike marriage, should be available to everyone.
