Left Proves To Be As Humorless As They Think Right Is

Clint Eastwood pictured with his comedy partner in a fake poster, parodying his favorite non-violent movie, MAN ON THE MOON, produced by the lead singer of the REM.

Clint Eastwood’s performance for a sellout crowd last night wowed the audience who got it and the pundits who didn’t. This morning, I take time out from giggling to myself as I repeat the funniest lines from Clint’s routine (“23 million unemployed. . . ” Funnier each time I think about it.) And of course, with his riff on American Exceptionalism where he suggest that America couldn’t succeed in Afghanistan just like the Russia’s couldn’t. Genius.

Of course, the liberal media are outraged at his outrageously funny routine in which he talked with a chair pretending it was President Obama about how he agreed with almost everything the chair that was supposed to be Obama has done but was going to vote for Romney because there were a few things he didn’t agree with Obama on and Romney wasn’t a chair. But isn’t their outrage just a part of the whole performance experience that Eastwood was going for?  Because, as they have proven time and time again, they just don’t get Republican humor.

I can think of two other instances in just recent history in which the liberal media was so upset that they weren’t in on the joke.First up, there was the tweet from an unpaid social media intern of Donald Trump

“An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that @BarackObama‘s birth certificate is a fraud.”

Right about the same time that Harry Reid was saying that he had an “extremely credible source” claiming to know that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes for 10 years. Yeah, he as making fun of Harry Reid but decided to just let the Liberal outrage drone on since if you have to explain a joke to some one, it just isn’t that funny anymore* and plus how could the left not get it? I mean, he stole it from Ann Coulter and they got her joke and they never get Ann Coulter (I do. Oh, I so get Ann Coulter.)

And then, just last week, Mitt Romney made a birth certificate joke

“Ann was born in Henry Ford Hospital, I was born in Harper Hospital. No one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate. . .”

Still funny. Not that the left got it. He wasn’t making a joke about Obama’s birth certificate but was joking about how everyone is asking for his tax returns which are nothing but pieces of paper that truly show how successful and generous the Romney’s have been for the past 10 years and he won’t show anyone those so what do you think if someone asked for his birth certificate which shows him born to Mexican immigrants who have come to America to take American jobs (and not just in the coveted fields of agriculture and hospitality but in automotive manufacturing and national politics). So his joke was so funny not because it’s an attack on Barack Obama not really being an American because Romney’s an Anchor Baby and no one seems to care about that. D’uh.

So the left doesn’t get us. We get that. But they better get us soon. Or there will be 2nd amendment implications. Just joking. And everyone has already seen Eastwood’s routine last night so I won’t give you that but here is an hilarious clip of him with a couple of British guys. I think one is this Graham Norton person I’ve been hearing so much about.

You’re welcome.

Update: It seems that many people have been quick to point out that the embedded video is not of Clint Eastwood and/or Graham Norton but of Liam Neeson and a Richard Gervis.  First of all, what kind of name is Liam Neeson but a made up one. This has to be Clint Eastwood’s version of Tony Clifton.  Notice the really bad fake Irish accent and make-up? And this Ricky Gershwinch character is undoubtedly an actor. See as he keeps trying to tell  “Liam” what is funny? I see this as Clint’s take on the media not really getting who he is as an overall performer.

*Trump later realized he has to act as if this wasn’t really a joke because that while making of Harry Reid, which is extremely funny, he was also inadvertently making fun of people who are demanding evidence of Obama’s Kenyan birth, which isn’t funny but deadly serious.
