It has taken me this long to come down from the ecstasy of Paul Ryan’s speech last night then deal with this morning’s agony of listening to the liberal media whining about it. Paul Ryan proved last night that he was exactly the right pick for the vice president and eventually president when Mitt Romney passes away while in office, most likely at a state dinner due to a fatal reaction to a food allergy (shellfish, which proves to our Israeli allies even more than ever he is with them completely) that he felt, much like how much money he gave to charity, the public which in case for some reason included the white house chef didn’t need to be concerned with; Ryan would almost certainly take Ann Romney as his second first lady, as is the custom whenever a Mormon president dies. What a mensch Paul Ryan is and will be.
But before this all happens, there is the petty whining from the left that keeps trying to drag the Romney/Ryan ticket down into the muck. Their latest faux-ray into dirty politics is trying to claim that Paul Ryan’s acceptance speech was composed of a web of lies.
To even address these charges would seem at least to give Democrats even a little bit of satisfaction as well as a bit of hope that perhaps the public may come to think Paul Ryan is less than honest. Well, that is never going to happen here.
As I gazed out on the many faces watching Paul hand down his gospel, these people believed. They believe that Obama caused an auto factory to close not matter when it happened. They believe that the $716 million Obama pilfers from Medicare is as close to thievery no matter how much he actually doesn’t pilfer at all. And they believe that Obama has taken their tax dollars from day one and has given nothing back no matter how many tax cuts he has given the middle class which will never be enough anyway. (And for many, even though Ryan doesn’t probably, believe that Obama had something to do with Paul’s father death.)
So he may have not said the exact facts. Anyone can know a fact. professors tell them facts all the time. What the liberal left doesn’t get is that hey hear this God fearing man speak of small government and individualism with objectivist roots and no matter what the facts are, they just hear what they think is. And that is all they will ever think to believe. Thank God.
And You’re welcome.
